Holiday Work

At One Way School we do not set compulsory holiday homework!

We hope you and your children enjoy spending time together, exploring and having fun – not just sitting doing lots of work. That’s what school is for!

These are great things to do with your kids include;

  • Read a story (or chapter of a longer book) every day
  • Number sequences, times tables and mental maths questions
  • Ask them about their day. What they did, what order it happened in. Ask them to describe it.
  • Get them to write a diary or a shopping list
  • Write a letter to their teacher about what they did in the holiday’s.
  • Read and study the bible together

Although, if you really need some work for your child then you can download any of these pre-prepared worksheets for them to complete.
